Museo Mutuc aims to introduce and showcase the skills of our National Living Treasure, Eduardo Mutuc.

The practice of pinukpok is an excellent representation of our country's creativity with much-allotted patience for producing finely detailed products. The story behind the genesis of this method came from a man and his yearnings for a bearable life. Let us acknowledge the aspects of Eduardo's life that built a character of wisdom. Although he began late in life as an artisan and metalsmith, he disregarded the thought of it and dedicated most of his life to his art which most people must learn to accept as their principle and put into practice. As wise words of Eduardo (2021) said, "You shouldn't be driven by money".

It is fortunate for us to have witnessed the creation of his works while he’s still alive and well. Eduardo Mutuc can be a living epitome of dedication and hard work reminding the youths today of the beauty of these traits. And through this activity, we can expose the existence of such art to our people who may not have been aware of such and raise the likeliness of the practice to reach other artists and instill it in their own works.
